Native of El Dorado, Arkansas, Jordan has been an active dancing and performing onstages since the age of 5. Competing in various competitions as a child this led to stage productions. Self taught dancer as a child Jordan worked with local gospel theatre company Family Affairs Productions, touring with various stage shows in the Arkansas tri-state area such as If The Church Ain’t Right, Project: Dream. A graduate of Henderson State University, with a bachelors in Theatre Arts where he obtained technique training in acting as well as dance with the Henderson State Dance Company studying basic Graham, Fosse, and Horton techniques. 

 

 

Jordan has since worked in various locations as a dancer and stage actor. He has been supporting actor and featured dancer with various roles in New York City, Dominican Republic, and Canada. His works include portraying the role of Scarecrow in The Wiz in New York City with NY Black Arts, as Bee' The Reindeer as apart of Forever Frozen Story International Tour. As well as a dancer for Club Med Resorts in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. 

 

 Currently Jordan resides in the Chicago/ Northwest Indiana area choreographing & teaching kids of all ages in Chicago Public Schools also Dance studios with various programs. Jordan has created his own short dance films Kindness Project, Can You Hear Me, and PSA: Joy . His most recent acting roles have been The Buddy Holly Story with Metropolis Performing Arts Center as Apollo Performer and as Lyle in The GreatWorks Touring Theatre adaptation of Lyle The Crocodile. 

 

  At this time Jordan mission is to combine dance art, and fashion to send positive messages to the masses. He is an advocate for LGBTQIA + and Black communities. He is wanting to use his gifts, talents, and creativity to be a vehicle for positivity, and change. “Black Boy Joy” is message he lives by and will continue to make art that sheds a positivity image on these communities.
